What is the deposit policy in Romania?

In Romania, a refundable security deposit is held on a credit card at pick-up for all Basic rentals — typically from EUR 1,700 to over €3,000 depending on the vehicle category. This is a hold, not a charge, and is released after the vehicle is returned without damage. To rent without a deposit, select Klass Total Cover during booking. The deposit requirement drops to zero.
